Hostal Gonzalez - Oviedo

We were given a guest room upon arrival. Private bathroom was comfortable. The venue was set in the central position not far from several nice restaurants. Found Bar - Meson Valdes with perfect drinks 500 metres away.

We truly enjoyed the hotel, it was charming small and had stunning location really close to several nice restaurants as well as both the bus station.

The check-in process was smooth, the location is convenient, and the rooms werevery comfy and tidy. I appreciated the secure entry system and the ease of buzzing in. Despite being located near a busy road, the soundproof windows worked wonders in minimizing outside noise.

The room was clean and uniquely decorated, with a writing table and a spacious desk; the hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Mafalda's bench Sculpture.

stayed for 2 nights, the staff was very helpful and really helpful during all this time. the hotel had a central setting very close to the centre. and we were near to cafes and restaurants, the city center and train station.

Perfect location next to train and bus stations, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Easy check-in process with buzzer system and individual room keys. Clean and comfortable rooms. Helpful staff, even if they don't speak English. Good value for money, with reliable wifi.

The rooms at Hostal Gonzalez are cozy and comfortable, with a homely feel that instantly put me at ease. They are well-equipped with everything I needed, including a wardrobe to keep my belongings organized. The flat-screen TV was a bonus, allowing me to unwind and watch my favorite shows. The private bathroom with complimentary toiletries added a touch of luxury to my stay.

Personally, I would have preferred if all the rooms had a tile/marble floor like the twin room I stayed in. However, I understand that some guests may prefer a different flooring option, so this is just my subjective preference.

I recently stayed at Hostal Gonzalez for a couple of nights and had a wonderful experience. The check-in process was simple and hassle-free, and the location is perfect, within walking distance to all major tourist attractions and close to the train station. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with private bathrooms. Another great feature is the easy access to the building, with a clearly labeled button outside the main door for buzzing in. it was a fantastic value for the price.

The hostel's location is ideal, being close to both the train and bus stations, making it convenient for travelers arriving by public transportation. it is situated in the heart of the city, allowing guests to easily explore the center on foot. the rooms are clean and well-maintained, offering comfortable accommodations. the friendly and helpful staff, despite the language barrier, ensure a pleasant stay.

Due to its central location, there might be some noise from the busy road outside, which could be disturbing for light sleepers.

stayed here again in oviedo, and hostal gonzalez did not disappoint. great location, welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms-all at a good price.

Convenient Location: The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Oviedo, just a stone's throw away from popular attractions like Plaza de la Constitucion and Campoamor Theatre. Plus, it's only a short stroll to the vibrant Oviedo Police Station.

No Self-Entry: Unfortunately, the only minor issue I encountered during my stay was the absence of self-entry. Every time I wanted to access my room, I had to ring the bell to be let into the building.

Perfect location near train and bus stations. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and helpful host who uses Google Translate for communication. Good value for money, with reliable wifi access.
